Ahh, A Milkshake!

Ok, so the title really means nothing except our wonderfull supervisor making us [real] milkshakes tonight!!!! :) SO GOOD. Anyway, this week was really, really good. Crazy, though. Our schedule was completely different. Instead of going out, we stayed close and held a DNow type thing for some girls. These girls are nationals, and they are our translators. They are some of the sweetest girls ever, but because of the culture do not get too much attention when it comes to the Word. So we used this week to pour into these girls, as each one of us has been poured into all of our lives. We talked about being a woman after the Father's own heart. We talked about disciplines of being a disciple: studying the Word, journaling, yarping, and meditation and memorization (aka, "chew and swallow"). We talked about giving up our alabaster box (random fact: this box would have been what an engaged woman would bring to her husband on her wedding day...just something to think about), just ...

Our new family in "Bambi"! :) So, today was an absolutely amazing day, for real. The Father is SO good. Well, we headed out a bit late this morning, as I slept a little late...oops, ha. But it was ok, because we still made good time out to our first place for the day. We arrived, and went to find a house we had been to before. But we got the door slammed in our face...not literally, of course, but slowly the Father revealed to us that this door was closing while we were there. The woman was just talking about how we needed to give her something (so I gave her my pen) and how we needed to go to her village. She was leaving today to go back to her real home, but it is way to far away for us to visit. So, as we felt the door closing, we got up to leave. But she said she wanted to take us to some friends. So, we followed. She took us pretty far, to a home full of beautiful women. My favorite. Ok, that sounds really strange, b...

Lift up, Lift up, Lift UP!

Hey everyone who happens to read this. This is a call for this place to be lifted up. You don't know the names, the places, the people I have come to love, but you know our Father and you can interceede on behalf of those that He knows. Thank you! Lift up... That we would shine like stars That our team would continue to grow together and enrich each other That the places & people we visit will see that we are different beyond our skin color, by way of 2nd Cor. 11 (the first verses about boldness & confidence)... That homes & hearts would be open That ears would be unstopped That eyes would see the light That the evil one will have NO MORE STRONGHOLDS in this place That we will remain healthy That as His plan unfolds, we would follow without fear and without hindrance. I love you all...sorry for the spelling mistakes, I'm trying to hurry! :) He is good...Jaimahsiki!

BUSY! but in a wonderful way.

So, I know I don't get to write very often, and I'm sorry I cannot give you all elaborate details of everything that has happened. But know this, when I get back I'll probably go through my journals & notes day by day to tell you all everything that has transpired this summer. :) Anyway, I get to go to an Indian wedding tonight! WOOT WOOT! It is going to be a great ending to one of the BEST days! Two women decided to follow JC only this afternoon. The Spirit was moving beyond our imaginations! Please lift up Meentar & Sarog. They got it, and the latter had NEVER heard JC's name before!!!!! Yeah, how beautiful the feet indeed! Except not really, because my feet are rough! I know what I want for my b-day already...a pedicure & a haircut! Ha ha! Well, I wish I could give you more, but I need to go be wrapped up in a saree now! YAY! :) Love you all! Jamasikee! Praise the Lord!
So, I know I have not written in a good week and 1/2, but that's ok. Internet time here is short & precious. But yeah, it is going very well here! I continue to just love being here and making new friends and letting Daddy teach me. I love it so much. It's only been 2 weeks, but I already feel like it's been forever, and yet we only have 5 more weeks left. That sounds like a lot, but to us here it is SO short, especially when we look at our schedule. So, storytime. There is one place that I have been to twice. And one family that I have visited twice now. Beautiful. A 13 year old granddaughter. And they have both decided to follow JC only. It is so so amazing to watch the master at work. Please lift up this family. They have a special place in my heart already. We will continue to visit them twice a week until we leave. :) I love them. What else to tell...? There is just so much that I love about this place. So much. We are going to a traditional wedding o...
