Our new family in "Bambi"! :)
So, today was an absolutely amazing day, for real. The Father is SO good.

Well, we headed out a bit late this morning, as I slept a little late...oops, ha. But it was ok, because we still made good time out to our first place for the day. We arrived, and went to find a house we had been to before. But we got the door slammed in our face...not literally, of course, but slowly the Father revealed to us that this door was closing while we were there. The woman was just talking about how we needed to give her something (so I gave her my pen) and how we needed to go to her village. She was leaving today to go back to her real home, but it is way to far away for us to visit. So, as we felt the door closing, we got up to leave. But she said she wanted to take us to some friends. So, we followed.

She took us pretty far, to a home full of beautiful women. My favorite. Ok, that sounds really strange, but the women here are just SO nice. I really do love it here, especially with them. So, we went in and began to share the story of the demon possessed man. They listened. And they asked us to share it again. Then they shared it as well, with a little bit of help. But they all listened SO intently, the best listeners I've seen in a while. It was so beautiful. They are so open. So, right as the Father closed one door, He immediately opened another! We cannot wait to return here and continue storying with them.

So, we left there amazed at how the Father is moving. Then we headed to our next place, "Bambi," to meet some women there. But when we arrived, by horse cart...yes, transportation is so advanced and just plain awesome here (but really, you know how much I love horses...), we found that the women would not be able to come because our main person, who we cannot wait to see again, will not be back for another week. Sooo, we felt a bit defeated, but then I remembered a house that our supervisor told us to stop by...and so we did.

More beautiful women! A mother, 3 daughters & her son. Two of the daughters will be leaving on Friday, one other daughter was not there, and one daughter is our age. I didn't catch the son's name. But it was, again, an awesome visit. They listened and understood, and asked REALLY good questions. And they are ready for us to come back. The daughters who are leaving on Friday have already said that they will share this story with their friends! Oh my goodness. That was amazing. And then they were really excited to hear another story when we return on Wednesday. We are really excited to go back.

Lift up...

  • The places..."Coke" & "Bambi"

  • The people...Chamanbala, Knika, Anita, Archana ("Coke") & Rajesh, Anshu, Sonu, Monu, Rashmi, Uday ("Bambi")

  • The team...Courtney, Nivya (our translator), and I will come back every Mon/Wed to these people.

  • The growth...for more people to come.

  • The seeds that we've scattered...that the soil would be ready.

  • And most importantly, PRAISE HIM for this day! For everyday, we get to obey Him and bring HIS name glory!

Oh, I am so overjoyed by this day. The enemy will NOT get us down. Thank you for joining in this battle. We are promised that our weapons are not of this world, but have the power to destroy strongholds. We put on the full armor...and we that, we GO.
