Another thought. Beautiful!

This is how God loved us & chased after us...as a bridegroom picks up and carries His wife over the threshold of a house. That threshold is SIN. He carried us over it. We no longer are chained down by it. Wow, what a beautiful thought. Our husbands (haha, cause I have so much experience...) can never do that. But Christ did. Even we when didn't want to be carried--we wanted to walk in with Him, still feeling the muck of sin on our feet. But Christ washes our feet. He washes our blood & dirt stained wedding dress white as snow. And, I don't know about it, but I want Him to sweep me off of my feet. I want Him to pick me up and carry me. Cause I am a whore, I have (and still do) cheat on Him. And yet, every single time I run out on Him, He runs right out after me. So beautiful. :)

What's Your Story?

Today, I am asking the question, "What's your story?" And not just any story...what's your love story? Is it one full of mistakes and heartache? One of joy that lasts until morning comes? One of secret pain that is hidden by a mask of bliss? Let me tell you my love story. I had tried looking for love. Not so much physically, but emotionally. I would run after a boy, and always come up empty. I never felt loved. I was betrayed. I was hurt. I was running after things I could never obtain. But then I ran smack dab into something--Someone who had been running after me, pursuing me in passionate love, for a very long time. I came to a conclusion last night. Love can never be fully comprehended unless one knows, intimately, the very author of love. I assume you know what Holiday is almost here & will be here on Sunday morning. The embodiment of this love, this love that found me when I was running from it & running toward anything--anyone else... Well, r...

God Uses EVERYTHING & EVERYONE

I know I have not written in SO long, and I'm really sad about that. There have, indeed, been many things I have wanted to write about, but I just haven't found the time or the motivation to sit down and take the time to really flesh out my thoughts... So, here I am, not writing a lesson persay, but just some things I have learned over Spring Break and this first week back at school. :) Hope God speaks to you through them! ... God uses ordinary projects to teach EXTRAORDINARY things to His people. Yes, even icky school projects. Over spring break (I know, I'm lame and do homework over break), I was reading research to prepare for my huge english project/paper. Because of the blessing of being at a Christian college, I get to write it on Hinduism & Christianity. I was reading the story of a woman who was a devout Hindu, but found Christ through the word of God and made a huge impact on her nation (India) for His Kingdom's sake. It was talking about her experien...
